Landscapes
One of the Hudson River School painters, Thomas Cole, said, “If landscape and religion are not identical, they are at least inseparable”. That sums up my feeling about landscape pretty well. I’ve been a landscape painter all my life.
These paintings are almost all scenes from western Washington. They are acrylic on canvas or board, and galley wrapped, which means they have a deep painted edge, so a frame is optional.
