Bark & Birds
The Bark & Birds series started as my response to the isolation of COVID19 restrictions in the spring of 2020. My neighborhood got very quiet just as the birds got noisy. Since we couldn’t go anywhere we spent a lot of time walking the dog. And what there is to see in my neighborhood is trees. The paintings are mostly small, because the birds are small. Sometimes the birds are hard to find in the paintings, because they’re hard to find in real life.
